이력
Hong Chun Zhang (known as Zhang Chun Hong in China) was born
in 1971, Shenyang, China. In 1994, she received a BFA degree in
Chinese Painting from Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
In 1996, Hong came to America with her twin sister to expand their
education in fine arts. In 2004, she completed the MFA program at
University of California, Davis. Hong currently resides in
Lawrence, KS with her husband and daughter.
Hong uses disembodied long, black and straight hair as a
reference to her identity. Her ceiling to floor sized charcoal
drawings on scrolls combine traditional skills with contemporary
ideas.

The Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles; The Portland
Museum of Art in Maine; The Chinese Culture Center of San
Francisco; The Center for Contemporary Art Sacramento; BRIC Rotunda
Gallery in Brooklyn and The Chinese Porcelain Company in New York
City.

collections such as Sylvain Levy/ DSL Collection (Paris 2011), The
Origo Family Foundation (Zurich 2009), The White Rabbit
Contemporary Chinese Art Collection (Sydney 2008), The Kansas City
