Rashawn Griffin received a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and an MFA from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Selected exhibitions include Triple Candy in New York, the Rush Gallery in New York and the Art Space Annex in Connecticut. He was also an artist-in-residence at the Studio Museum of Harlem in New York. He utilizes various media including painting, sculpture, and multimedia collage that explore the traits of natural materials and space. Rashawn Griffin lives and works in New York.
