Steven Hull (b. 1967, Lakewood, California) received both his BFA and MFA from the California Institute of the Arts, Valencia in 1995 and 1997, respectively. He is the recipient of the Louis Comfort Tiffany Award (2001) and the Joan Mitchell Foundation Award for Painting (2009).
Recent solo exhibitions include Stack Painting, Angstrom Gallery Project Space, Dallas, TX (2006); Turner Projects, Los Angeles (2007); and Galerie Schmidt MacZolleck, Köln, Germany (2009).
Hull is represented by Rosamund Felsen Gallery in Santa Monica, California. He lives and works in Oakland and Los Angeles.
