Sophie Bueno-Boutellier lives and works in Berlin.
Sophie allows herself to be influenced by mysticisms and
theosophies along with influences from the rational world.
Her installations are created from an extensive list of
materials including dyed cotton sheets, brass, felt, mud, ostrich
eggs, bottles, cable, and countless list of other objects.
Her piece, “Golden Skirt,” exemplifies her romantic
influences through the gold color and light shape of the skirt.
The neatly planned cutting of the chromoluxe paper allows for
the viewer to understand her artful combination of the rational
with a light-hearted dream.
