Jered Sprecher received an MFA in Painting in 2002 and an MA in Painting in 2001 from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and a BA in History/Studio Art in 1999 from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. Selected exhibitions include solo shows at OSP Gallery in Boston (2006), ADA Gallery in Richmond, Virginia (2006), The Cabinet at Wendy Cooper Gallery in Chicago (2005) and Never Finished at GFL Gallery in Brooklyn (2005). His work belongs to several institutional collections, including the New York Public Library in New York, the Tama Art Museum in Tokyo, and the Amity Art Foundation in Woodbridge, Connecticut. He is represented by OSP Gallery in Boston and Wendy Cooper Gallery in Chicago. Jered Sprecher lives and works in Knoxville, Tennessee.
