George Stoll was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1954. He has had
23 solo shows since 1994. His most recent solo shows were “Sacred
and Profane” at Kim Light/Light Box in LA and “Tupperware
1995-2008” at Baldwin Gallery in Aspen in 2008. His most recent
group exhibition was “Dilettantes, Dandies and Divas” at Gavlak
Gallery in Palm Beach, Florida in 2009.
His work has been exhibited in two museum shows, one in 1996 at
the Contemporary Art Center and the other in 2000 at the Rose Art
Museum. Stoll’s work is held in a numerous public collections
including the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, the San Diego
Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art Seattle
and the Robert J. Shiffler Collection.
