Michelle Grabner (b. 1962) received an MFA in Art Theory and Practice in 1990 from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, as well as an MA in Art History in 1987 and a BFA in Painting and Drawing in 1984 from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Selected solo exhibitions includes shows at the Rocket Gallery in London (2006), the University Galleries at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois (2006), and the Project Room at the Wendy Cooper Gallery in Chicago (2005). She is a founder of The Suburban exhibition space in Oak Park, Illinois, and is represented by the Shane Campbell Gallery in Chicago. Michelle Grabner lives and works in Oak Park, Illinois.
