Born in Gwangju, South Korea, Won Ju Lim received an MFA from the Art Center College of Design (Pasadena) and a BA from Woodbury University (Burbank). Selected exhibitions include Emily Tsingou Gallery (London), Honululu Academy of Arts (Hawaii), Kunsthalle Göppingen (Göppingen), and the National Gallery (Prague). Lim’s work consistently explores the body’s relationship to space, time and memory through the terms of architecture, sculpture and atmosphere. She is represented by Galerie Max Hetzler (Berlin) and Patrick Painter (Los Angeles). Won lives and works in Los Angeles.
