Hanson/Sonnenberg

Chris Hanson and Hendrika Sonnenberg are a 15-year artistic collaboration from Canada. They both received BFA's from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax. Hanson received an MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Sonnenberg received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Selected exhibitions include the Cohan and Leslie Gallery in New York, and the Store Gallery in London. Their most recent endeavor is on view at the MetroTech Center in Brooklyn commissioned by the Public Art Fund. They both live and work in Brooklyn.
