Fernando Palomar (b.1967) studied as an architect. In his work Palomar creates ridiculous, objects and mechanisms that contradict the “functionality” concept, implicit in the activities of an architect or a designer. His work has been showed in El museo de Arte Carrillo Gil in Mexico City, Picnic at Museo de Artes de Guadalajara 1999, Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo (ARCO) in Madrid and Siete Dilemas at the Museo de Arte Moderno de la Ciudad de México in 2002, amongst others. Fernando Palomar lives and works in Guadalajara.
