BIOGRAPHY

Jason Middlebrook received a BFA from the University of California at Santa Cruz and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Selected exhibitions include the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art in Ridgefield, Connecticut, Sara Meltzer Gallery in New York, and Margo Leavin Gallery in Los Angeles.

Middlebrook received The Joan Mitchell Foundation 2010 Grant, and is currently working on public commissions including the MTA Art for Transit Commission NY, and the GSA Commission for the new Billings Federal Courthouse, MO. Middlebrook's work is in the public collections of the Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, MA; Albright Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, NY; Denver Art Museum, Denver, CO; Microsoft Corporate Art Collection, Redmond, WA; Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY; New Museum, New York, NY; Progressive Art Collection, Mayfield, OH; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY.
