Mathilde Rosier was born in 1973 in Paris and currently lives and works in Berlin and Bourgogne, France. She studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts, Paris and Rijksakademie, Amsterdam.
She had solo exhibitions at Dortmunder Kunstverein, Dortmund, Germany (2012), Camden Arts Center, London (2011), Kunstpalais, Erlangen, DE (2011), Musée du Jeu de Paume, Paris (2010), and has performed at the Freud Museum, London (2011) and at the Serpentine Gallery, London (2009). Recent group exhibitions include: Kunsthaus Graz, AT (2011); Abteiberg Museum, Moenchengladbach, DE (2010), Staatsgalerie Stuttgart (2010), Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, DE (2009). She is represented by Galerie Kadel Willborn, Karlsruhe, DE and Galleria Raffaella Cortese, Milan.
