Astrup Fearnley Collection: Rotating Views #2
Astrup Fearnley Museet for Modern Kunst, Oslo, Oslo, 09/17/2010 - 01/02/2011
关于
Rotating Views #2 belongs to a series of exhibitions seeking to open new connection and encounters between artworks in the Astrup Fearnley Collection. In this exhibition we ignore traditional art historical categories and present unexpected and aesthetic combinations. The artworks cover a wide range of pictorial expressions; from Asger Jorns’ Expressionism to Warhol’s Pop Art; from Gerhard Richter’s Photorealism to Jeff Koons’ Appropriationism. The exhibition is thus also suited to contextualize the separate exhibitions of Nate Lowman, Bjarne Melgaard and Gardar Eide Einarsson shown on the Museum’s ground floor during the same period.
