4 East 2nd Street
Museum 52 are proud to present a solo presentation by New York based artist Daphne Fitzpatrick.
The exhibition. brings together new and existing work (drawings, photographs and sculptures) made between 1990 and the present. The work reflects the artist's preoccupation with relationships between the material world and human forms; found and made objects; nature and debris. Fitzpatrick approaches art making with an openness that allows mindful analysis as much as spontaneity to cultivate the work. There will be over 80 works in the exhibition
Fitzpatrick has had recent solo exhibitions at Bellwether and La MaMa, NY. Her work has been in exhibitions at The Center of Contemporary Art, Seattle; ICA, Philadelphia; Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, LA; Sikkema, NY; Participant, NY; Art in General, NY; Colgate University, Hamilton NY; Jack Hanley, San Francisco and Sandroni Rey Gallery, Los Angeles.
